Create Wealth By Writing Daily In A Gratitude Journal

Have you ever considered starting a gratitude journal and writing down how grateful you are for the things you already have in your life?

There’s nothing wrong with wanting more in your life, as long as you appreciate what you have. Showing gratitude is the first step on your journey to abundance. You will not experience the richness you desire until you have expressed your gratitude on a daily basis.

Sarah Ban Breaknach says from her book Simple Abundance, "You simply will not be the same person two months from now after consciously giving thanks each day for the abundance that exists in your life. And you will have set in motion an ancient spiritual law: "The more you have and are grateful for, the more will be given to you".

When you start writing in your gratitude journal, wonderful things start happening. When you first start off and are trying to be consistent, you may find yourself nodding off to sleep then suddenly sitting up in bed and grabbing your journal, because you hadn’t written anything that day.

You’ll do or see things throughout your day which you know will have to be written in your gratitude journal and after a while you’ll actually start looking for things to be grateful for. What happens then is that whatever you look for or focus your attention on, will start to happen in your life.

If you’ve had an absolutely wonderful day, don’t be embarrassed to show how you feel. Jump in the air for joy, sqeal with delight or do a little happy dance. As the saying goes, "Let it all hang out!"

Dr. Seuss once said, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind". Ain’t that the truth?

Start your gratitude journal today and live each day being grateful for what you have.
