Is The Economic Crisis Affecting You?

If you’re financially free then I guess it would have no affect at all. But, unfortunately, not all of us have that luxury.

The majority of the population is working at a 9 to 5 job bringing in a salary which only just covers your monthly expenses. With the cost of fuel and basic food items constantly rising, it becomes a real struggle to stay on top of it.

To really survive well in this climate of financial unrest, you need to have more than one source of income. You and your partner may both work, but if one of you loses your job, you could be in deep trouble with no prospects of getting out of it.

Would $200 or $1000 a month make a difference to your budget? In most cases it would make a huge difference. This is where multiple streams of income can help you.

Spring Has Sprung…Time To Get Fit and Healthy!

Now that Spring is here in Australia, it’s time to get fit and healthy for Summer. It’s time to get rid of those few extra kilos put on over Winter and start the Fit Yummy Mummy Program.

We spend our Winter months eating comfort foods like curries and casseroles, so as a result it’s only natural that we put on extra weight. I don’t know about you, but I always feel a bit "stodgy" once Winter is over and can’t wait to eat lots of salads again.

It’s also the time to exercise and tone our bodies up once again. I’m not one for going out much in the Winter to exercise. For a start I don’t like cold weather and I like staying in my bed where it’s cosy and warm! I live in Queensland which has a very temperate climate, but I still feel the cold even though it’s a whole lot warmer than in the south of the country.

Motivating yourself to get out and exercise can be very hard for some people, myself included. I’m either extremely busy or can’t be bothered. Do you know someone like that? With the Fit Yummy Mummy Program, you don’t even have to leave your house. You can sign up for the FREE eCourse by clicking HERE.

If you’re happy with the eCourse and you’d like to purchase the complete program, one of the bonuses is an excellent meal planner, which is full of delicious, nutritious recipes, and will help you shed the kilos.

You can’t be fit and healthy without a diet and exercise program, and the beauty of the Fit Yummy Mummy Program is that it can all be done in your own home. Just think, no more gym fees and you get to eat delicious, nutritious meals everyday.

Aim For Success

It shouldn’t be too hard, should it? All it takes is the motivation to get out and do something to achieve it.

"Never again clutter your days or nights with so many menial and unimportant things that you have no time to accept a real challenge when it comes along. This applies to play as well as work. A day merely survived is no cause for celebration. You are not here to fritter away your precious hours when you have the ability to accomplish so much by making a slight change in your routine. No more busy work. No more hiding from success. Leave time, leave space, to grow. Now. Now! Not tomorrow!"
Og Mandino (1923 - 1996)

In other words don’t waste your time. We only have such a short time on earth to achieve the goals we’ve set ourselves and to achieve success you have to be willing to put in the effort.

Millions of "dreamers" from all over the world go out every week and purchase lotto or lottery tickets, hoping that their name will be the lucky one drawn out to win a fortune. What they don’t understand is that the real joy comes not from being handed money on a "silver platter", but from their own sweat and tears and earning it themselves.

You must believe in the power of your mind and your ability to achieve success. Keep in mind though that the rewards which you receive in life, material or psychic, will not come to you because of your potential, but rather through your performance.

Our lives are governed by the images in our mind, and therefore it is necessary to build images which will result in the greatest success. Once your image is established in your mind, it’s time to turn it over to the power within you so that your image will begin to materialize in your physical world. Now that’s success!

Creating Future Entrepreneurs

I was reading a story from my local newspaper today about a 31 year old woman, a real entrepreneur, who took the risk of going into business to teach different types of dance to students.

This had been a goal since she started dancing lessons as a child, and her dream had always been to have her own dance studio. Well she did it and now has a very successful business.

It made me think of all the obstacles she would have faced before getting to where she is now. She would have to face the following challenges:

  • Finding a studio in the right location
  • Finding a studio with reasonable rent
  • Finding a real estate agent who would be willing to rent out premises to someone with no prior financial history in real estate
  • Possibly going to financial institutions to ask for a loan to fit out her studio
  • Having enough money to advertise her studio and what she had to offer by the way of classes
  • Being able to pay dance teachers
  • Attracting enough students to pay all her bills and in due time, make a profit

It seems to me that you would have to be very persistent and patient to realize your dream of becoming an entrepreneur, but a lot of people do it and have become very successful.

There’s a risk, of course, that it will not turn out as you had hoped, but if you don’t step out of your "comfort zone" and be willing to do something that no one else will, then you’ll stay the same as you are and fit in with the majority of the population.

We need more entrepreneurs to step out and show that they are willing to put everything on the line to succeed at their chosen profession and in doing so, leading the way for more people to follow in their footsteps.

How I Achieved An “Unrealistic” Goal!

Have you ever heard the term "dream stealers"? I’m sure a lot of people have but aren’t sure what it means.

Whatever you do, if you have a goal you want to achieve, don’t share it with others, keep it to yourself. There are people out there who will do anything they can to steal your dream from you and tell you that "all that stuff is nonsense". The more people you tell the more they suck the energy right out of you.

The idea of a goal is to focus all your energy on it and to believe that you have already achieved it. A goal is not something you think about and sit waiting for it to happen.

A goal without a plan is just a wish. Antoine de Saint-Exupery
French writer (1900 - 1944)

For a goal to materialize you have to set out what you want and when you want it.

As an example I’ll tell you my story. My goal was shared with one other person and that was my husband!

We had lost our previous house through a bad business venture in 1990 and I was determined that some day I’d have my own home again. I started putting pictures of houses on my walls and I knew that my daughter was getting married in September 1995, so I set my goal to be in my new house by August 1995.

One Saturday afternoon my husband was working so I took a drive and came across some new blocks of land. I got talking to the salesman and he said I only needed $100 to secure a block. We had $3000 in the bank so I took the gamble and paid the deposit. My husband agreed to go along with it thankfully!

A couple of weeks later my husband was working again so I hopped in my car and started looking at display homes. I came across one I really liked and once again started chatting to the salesman who told me he could build us a house while we paid off the deposit, legal fees etc., so he came to talk to us that night and we signed up. It’s amazing how quickly things began to happen once we put up a picture board the means to attract the required deposit seemed to appear from many sources. This would not have occurred if we did not have a passionate goal.

To cut a long story short, we ended up moving into our brand new home on 4th August 1995 and all our fees etc. were paid for, and we also paid for our daughter’s wedding.

I knew that if I’d discussed my goal with anyone else they would have said I was crazy, especially when we only had $3000 to our name! But I knew with all my heart that we were going to achieve the goal no matter what stood in our way.

Stay away from the "dream stealers"!

Are You The Next “Big and Rich” Entrepreneur?

I’ve often wondered what you’d have to do to become "big and rich", and my observation is that you either have to work very hard to get where you want to be, or be suddenly discovered as the next great model or actor.

People like Bill Gates, Donald Trump and Warren Buffet, didn’t become "big and rich" overnight. They had to work extremely hard and had to spend long hours honing their businesses. To them their business is their life and they put all their energies into making it successful.

Being discovered as the next top model on the other hand, doesn’t seem to take as much effort. If you’ve got the right look at the right time, then promoting yourself will be taken care of by the agency which signed you up. Spending a few days at a time on a photo shoot, or strutting your stuff on a catwalk, doesn’t even come close to the hard work put in by entrepreneurs.

If you are discovered as the next big actor, you spend a minimum of 2-3 months a year filming a movie, then once it’s completed you have the terrible task of going around the world to promote it! Many of us would like to think that we could be the next big movie star, but it takes talent and perseverance to make it.

If you want to be the next person to become "big and rich" don’t just sit around waiting for it to happen. Maybe you’ve got an idea for a great project but are fearful that it won’t work.

Are you willing to step out of your comfort zone and risk taking the chance that it may actually work? What if it does fail?

Napoleon Hill said, "Before success comes in any man’s life, he’s sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. That’s exactly what the majority of men do".

Will you quit too or will you be the next "big and rich" entrepreneur?

Rick’s success has been achieved by recognizing property profits can be maximized when you start to create strategies relating to the terms under which the property is acquired or sold, and not simply relying on price-led strategies. Rick buys, sells and trades property using little or none of his own money, and he structures transactions to create positive-cash flow.

Rick was fortunate to be living in America during the late eighties when banks were facing one of the biggest challenges ever seen in finance history, the famous Savings and Loans Crisis. This thinking has been highlighted in various TV appearances, books and soon to be released the publication of Rick’s entrepreneurial mix of business and biography. And if it follows Rick’s successful life-mantra it will be punctuated with his classic mix of inventiveness and humor.

For many years whilst successfully running his We Buy Houses business in the United States and Australia when he spent most of his time answering people’s questions about just what makes his business so phenomenally different and profitable!

It’s one thing to pick up a manual that has already been fully tried-and-tested in advance, but being a pioneer requires going into the unknown and having faith in what you believe in and seeing it through. Rick had no system in place when he started out, just the knowledge that he had done this before and that someone would take the responsibility to put into practice what was needed to make this work in your country.

You can now fast track what has taken Rick more than 17 years to perfect and replicate his exact same steps today! You are in the middle of the most perfect market of all time for using Rick’s strategy for property investing. Owning Your Own Business

In order to create wealth you must have a plan as to how you’re going to achieve it!

Are you going to become wealthy working for an employer or would you rather run your own business, and work hard to build your own empire?

I know which way I’d go. You can never become wealthy if you work for someone else and they get the benefit of all your hard work. You have to step out of the comfort zone and be willing to take risks. This is not an easy thing to do, especially if you’ve worked for someone else for many years. It takes courage!

Once you’ve done it though, you’ll start to wonder why you hadn’t been willing to take the risk beforehand. Just think…you are your own boss and you are only answerable to yourself. If you do something and fail then you have to take responsibility and learn from it. On the other hand, what if your business was flourishing and you were reaping a hefty reward? You’d go out and celebrate because the effort was all yours and now you’re being rewarded for all the hard work.

Owning your own business is never easy, but if you are willing to take the risk and spend the time building it up, then it will give you a great deal of satisfaction when you become successful.

Can Wealth Be Measured In Time?

You’ve no doubt heard the old adage, “time is money”. Well that got me thinking!
I value every minute of my time and I spend most of it on my business, so if something takes me away from it, then theoretically I’m not being paid.
However, I believe there is an exception to this rule. How much does it cost to spend “time” with your family or friends? This is time you’ll never get back. I thought about this today as I was looking after my delightful 15 month old granddaughter.
She takes up a whole lot of time, but I wouldn’t trade it for any amount of money.
Do I care if I don’t get a blog post written today?
Do I care if I don’t do the research I had teed up to do today?
Do I care if my eBook doesn’t get started today?
Do I care if I don’t list any items to sell on eBay today?
I could go on and on about the things I was going to achieve today, but does it really matter? It will all still be there tomorrow. So today I get to play with this beautiful little girl, and believe me, she is a delight to have around.
My “time” with her being this little is so short and I can’t get it back so I’m taking every opportunity I can to spend it with her.
Take some “time” out of your day to spend it with a loved one because it will be gone before you know it!
