Can You Really Expect An Abundance?
July 31, 2008 by Susan Denny

The answer is definitely "yes". Many people live their lives with that old adage, "I’ll believe it when I see it", firmly transfixed in their minds.
But the visionaries of yesteryear have always known that the overriding principle is, "I’ll see it when I believe it". What a difference it makes just by changing the wording. Everything we see in our physical world today, has been built largely by image-makers. Men and women who had self confidence and knew what they could do, and EXPECTED everything else to fall into place, regardless of what the critics had to say.
Think about the Wright Brothers. If they hadn’t had an image of an airplane in flight, and EXPECTED it to succeed, then we wouldn’t be flying all over the world today.
Thomas Edison invented the first light globe so that today we don’t have to spend our time feeling our way in the dark. He had an image in his mind, and even though he had many failures, he was persistent because he EXPECTED it to work.
There are three steps you can take to expect an abundance into your life.
1. Build the image in your mind
2. Turn it over to spirit, universe etc. Whatever you wish to call it.
3. Expect to receive it with all your heart and soul and that you will be rewarded for your faith
To expect an abundance, you have to get emotionally involved and that means taking the three steps above to achieve it.

A man of dedicated vision Rick Otton is founder and CEO of We Buy Houses, a leading property enterprise which Rick has successfully expanded into the international markets of America, the UK, New Zealand and Australia. Rick’s success has been achieved by recognizing property profits can be maximized when you start to create strategies relating to the terms under which the property is acquired or sold, and not simply relying on price-led strategies. Rick buys, sells and trades property using little or none of his own money, and he structures transactions to create positive-cash flow.
Rick was fortunate to be living in America during the late eighties when banks were facing one of the biggest challenges ever seen in finance history, the famous Savings and Loans Crisis. Rick was buying and selling houses in an environment where home loans were practically abolished, leading Rick to create innovative property systems which allowed people to buy and sell houses without relying on the banks. Fast-forward seventeen years and Rick’s unique methods and processes are used everyday all over the world.
This enthusiastic, over-achiever believes "Things don’t change, people change things" and relishes in looking at established practices and asking …why? This thinking has been highlighted in various TV appearances, books and soon to be released the publication of Rick’s entrepreneurial mix of business and biography. And if it follows Rick’s successful life-mantra it will be punctuated with his classic mix of inventiveness and humor.
For many years whilst successfully running his We Buy Houses business in the United States and Australia when he spent most of his time answering people’s questions about just what makes his business so phenomenally different and profitable!
It’s one thing to pick up a manual that has already been fully tried-and-tested in advance, but being a pioneer requires going into the unknown and having faith in what you believe in and seeing it through. Rick had no system in place when he started out, just the knowledge that he had done this before and that someone would take the responsibility to put into practice what was needed to make this work in your country.
You can now fast track what has taken Rick more than 17 years to perfect and replicate his exact same steps today! You are in the middle of the most perfect market of all time for using Rick’s strategy for property investing. If you do exactly what has been laid out in easy-to-read detail, the results that you can achieve may exceed even his own! After all, Rick made all the mistakes himself so that you don’t have to!

Do You Have A Successful Marriage?

You may ask what credentials I have to be even talking about having a successful marriage. The fact that I’ve been married to the same man for 38 years is probably a very good start! We’re still madly in love after so many years together and we can’t bear to be apart from each other for too long a time. We have also worked together for the past 8 years, so if anything was going to pull us apart it would be the amount of time we spend with each other!
We also have an expanding family. We have 4 adult children, each married to a great partner, and 6 beautiful grandchildren. We all live close to each other so there’s quite a lot of family inter-action as well. I believe that an essential element of creating an outstanding family is to set the right example to your children, especially while they are very young. It has always amazed me how observant children can be.
They take in everything they see and hear, and they can even feel the atmosphere in the home, whether it’s full of love and joyfulness, or anger, tension and hostility. It’s easy to understand how this can affect their own behavior, their attitudes and even their personalities. They really do become a product of their environment. It makes you stop and think back about the kind of example you have been setting in the past.
Intimacy to me means a close loving relationship you have with another person while still retaining your own identity. Sharing your life with people who know that what they see is what they get, is very satisfying. Even though I’m "someone’s wife and someone’s mother", I’ve never felt that I’ve lost my identity.
My husband is of the same opinion and we have been on an equal footing since the day we met. When my husband introduces me as his "wife", I feel proud of the fact that I’m married to this wonderful man. I personally hate the term "partner" that’s used a lot today. To me it sounds like a business arrangement. I’ve never felt that my husband "owns" me. If you truly love someone then titles are trivial and don’t have any real meaning.
Stress and Cancer

Cancer is a word that we all dread hearing but unfortunately the sad fact is that about 1 in 3 men and 1 in 4 women will contract some form of cancer in their lives.
My own mother died from secondary breast cancer almost 7 years ago, with only one other sister diagnosed and surviving breast cancer. The ironic thing with my mother’s family, was that she was one of 11 children, and only her and her sister contracted it. Why does this happen and why haven’t any other members of the family got cancer too?
It makes you question the way you live your life and what you can do to improve your nutrition, exercise and overall general health, to live a long and fulfilling life.
I believe that thought processes and stress contribute to certain forms of cancer. If you’re in a negative frame of mind you begin to see and feel changes within your body, so if you are inflicted with a serious disease it makes it so much harder to fight.
The same can be said for stress. We all know that stress is a major factor in heart disease, but have you ever thought that it can also increase your chances of being diagnosed with cancer? Your body becomes very vulnerable to disease when under stress, so it’s very wise to do all you can to overcome the stress before it does any long term damage.
If you’re under a lot of stress at work or home, then take some time out to take a long walk or listen to calming, soothing music. It’s relaxation for your body and mind and you’ll feel so much better for it! You owe it to yourself and your family to look after YOU!

The Science of Getting Rich is a timeless classic written in 1910 by Wallace D. Wattles. It is a bold title for a book and suggests that getting rich is a predictable outcome if one can master the principles outlined in the book. Here is how Wallace D. Wattles puts it in his own words, "The ownership of money and property comes as a result of doing things in a certain way. Those who do things in this certain way, whether on purpose or accidentally, get rich. Those who do not do things in this certain way, no matter how hard they work or how able they are, remain poor. It is a natural law that like causes always produce like effects. Therefore, any man or woman who learns to do things in this certain way will infallibly get rich."

Do You Really Know Your Teenage Daughter?
July 29, 2008 by Susan Denny
Being a teenager in today’s society is not an easy task, and it affects girls a lot more than boys.
Girls are much more likely than boys to become depressed, delve into self-destructive behaviors and damage their futures because of low self-esteem. The easiest way to help them develop a healthy self-image is by encouraging them to try and master new things. Of course, you’ll have to make sure they are listening first - and to you, not the cell phone.
Talk with your daughters. Talk to your teen girls every day, just like when they were back in the lower grades. "What was the hardest class you had today?" "Have you studied WWII yet in history?" "How did the scrimmage go in basketball?"
Maybe you’re looking at that list of questions and asking yourself, "which classes are my kids in at school?" If you’ve completely withdrawn from your child’s life, now is the time to get reacquainted. Meet with your child’s principal or school counselor. Find out what classes she’s taking and what extracurricular activities she’s in.
Toss the grades out the window. Parents, it’s time to admit that short list of letters exists mainly for us. A, B, C, D … they don’t demonstrate how hard our kids work in class, just how many answers they get right. They might have worked hard studying, but they also might have had a lucky guess.
You can’t test effort, but you can see it. Get involved with your daughter’s friends and her academics by offering to host club meetings and study groups. Being involved with your teen girl, and particularly being a good listener, will help her feel supported and secure.
Encourage self-exploration by paying attention to your teen’s hobbies. If your daughter is already an ace at computer games, ask her if she’s ever tried programming one of her own. Buy her some tutorial guides, or invest in a summer camp program. Encourage her habits in healthy ways by helping her set realistic goals for herself, and praise, praise, praise when she follows through. It doesn’t matter if she succeeds. It matters if she gives it her all.

5 Facts You MUST Understand if You Are Ever Going to Lose Your Belly Fat & Get Six Pack Abs
1. Many so-called “health foods” are actually cleverly disguised junk foods that actually stimulate you to gain more belly fat… yet the diet food marketing industry continues to lie to you so they can maximize their profits.
2. Ab exercises like crunches, sit-ups, and ab machines are the LEAST effective method of getting flat six pack abs. We’ll explore what types of exercises REALLY work in a minute.
3. Boring repetitive cardio exercise routines are NOT the best way to lose body fat and uncover those six pack abs. I’ll show you the exact types of unique workouts that produce 10x better results below.
4. You DON’T need to waste your money on expensive “extreme fat burner” pills (that don’t work) or other bogus supplements. A special class of natural foods is much more effective. I’ll tell you about these natural foods and their powers below.
5. Ab belts, ab-rockers, ab-loungers, and other infomercial ab-gimmicks… they’re all a complete waste of your time and money. Despite the misleading infomercials, the perfectly chiseled fitness models in the commercials did NOT get their perfect body by using that “ab contraption”… they got their perfect body through REAL workouts and REAL nutrition strategies. Again, you’ll learn some of their secrets and what really works below.
Think about this… if what you’ve been doing all these years hasn’t been getting you the results you want, doing more of that same thing won’t get you any further! If doing 4 hours of cardio a week hasn’t worked for you, why do you believe that doing 7 hours of cardio will?
If doing 100 crunches a day hasn’t gotten you the results you want, why do you think that doing 200 crunches a day will? Of course you remember that doing the same things over and over and expecting different results is the definition of insanity!
The truth is that all of these techniques are WRONG and ineffective ways to workout. In fact, doing excessive cardio is actually working against your results because you are stimulating excessive cortisol production in your body and breaking down lean muscle tissue… all of which leads to the slowing down of your metabolic rate over time and deposition of even more belly fat on top of what you already have.
Also, wasting most of your workout time with ineffective abs exercises such as crunches, situps, and torso twists actually goes directly against your fat loss efforts as well. You see, the time you waste with doing all of these fairly ineffective abs exercises, is really just keeping you from doing the truly effective full body exercise combinations that actually stimulate your fat burning hormones and increase your metabolic rate for as much as 24-48 hours after each workout. You don’t get that with “ab workouts” or “cardio”!
When you get these types of full body metabolic-surge workouts right, the excess belly fat starts to melt off quicker than you ever could have imagined. Yes, it IS going to take a little work though. You’re not going to be able to just be lazy and sit on the couch every day hoping for your dream body to come true. Don’t worry though, it’s a system that can be applied by anyone, regardless of your age or current conditioning.
Over the last 10 years of training and consulting hundreds of women on nutrition, quite a few patterns started to emerge and I noticed most women were falling into many of the same traps. Some of them I mentioned above with the excess cardio, the time wasted doing crunches & situps, the bogus fat-burner pills, the worthless ab gadgets, the grocery store mistakes, and the failed diets time and time again.
Time and time again I even saw my friends and family just being flat-out scammed by the unscrupulous marketers in the fitness industry selling you all of this garbage that isn’t going to do anything at all to change your body for the better… It’s only going to make their wallets fatter!
This is an innovative scientifically-based fitness program that has finally revealed the truth about abdominals, stomach fat & love handles, and is helping tens of thousands of people around the world to finally conquer their struggle.
This information is from some of the best legitimate exercise research journals out there, as well as countless books from some of the best strength coaches and trainers in the world, and soaking up the info from some of the best nutritional books and journals from the top authorities in the world on the subject.

Tips For Success
July 27, 2008 by Susan Denny
Everything that happens to us happens on purpose. And sometimes, one thing leads to another. Instead of locking yourself up in your cage of fears and crying over past heartaches, embarrassment and failures, treat them as your teachers and they will become your tools in both self improvement and success.
Have you ever watched “Patch Adams” the movie? It’s one great film that will help you improve yourself. Hunter “patch” Adams is a medical student who failed to make it through the board exams. After months of suffering in melancholy, depression and suicidal attempts – he decided to seek medical attention and voluntarily admitted himself into a psychiatric ward.
His months of stay in the hospital led him to meeting different kinds of people. He met a catatonic, a mentally retarded, a schizophrenic and so on. Patch found ways of treating his own ailment and finally realized he had to get back on track. He woke up one morning realizing that after all the failure and pains he had gone through, he still wanted to become a doctor. He carries with himself a positive attitude that brought him self improvement and success. He didn’t only improve himself, but also the life of the people around him and the quality of life. Did he succeed? Needless to say, he became the best doctor his country has ever known.
So, when does self improvement become synonymous with success? Where do we start?
*Stop thinking and feeling as if you’re a failure, because you’re not. How can others accept you if YOU can’t accept YOU?
*When you see hunks and models on TV, think more on self improvement, not self pitying. Self acceptance is not just about having nice slender legs, or great abs. Concentrate on inner beauty.
*When people feel so down and low about themselves, help them move up. Don’t go down with them. They’ll pull you down further and both of you will end up feeling inferior.
*The world is a large room for lessons, not mistakes. Don’t feel stupid and doomed forever just because you failed on a science quiz. There’s always a next time. Make rooms for self improvement.
*Take things one at a time. You don’t expect black sheep’s to be goody-two-shoes in just a snap of a finger. Self improvement is a one day at a time process.
*Self improvement results in inner stability, personality development and …. SUCCESS. It comes from self confidence, self appreciation and self esteem.
* Set meaningful and achievable goals. Self improvement doesn’t turn you into the exact replica of Cameron Diaz or Ralph Fiennes. It aims to develop an improved and better YOU.
*Little things mean BIG things to other people. Sometimes, we don’t realize that the little things that we do like a pat on the back, saying “hi” or “hello”, greeting someone “good day”, are simple things that mean so much to other people. When we’re being appreciative about beautiful things around us and other people, we also become beautiful to them.
*When you’re willing to accept change and go through the process of self improvement, it doesn’t mean that everyone else is. The world is a place where people of different values and attitudes hang out. Sometimes, even if you think you and your best friend always like to do the same thing together at the same time, he/she would most likely decline an invitation for self improvement.
We should always remember that there’s no such thing as ‘overnight success’. Its always a wonderful feeling to hold on to the things that you already have now, realizing that those are just one of the things you once wished for. There’s an old quote which says that “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear.” We are all here to learn our lessons. Our parents, school teachers, friends, colleagues, officemates, neighbors… they are our teachers. When we open our doors for self improvement, we increase our chances of living a life of success.
Expecting A Goal To Happen
July 27, 2008 by Susan Denny
Expectation can trigger mechanisms which attract into your life everything you desire. However, if you do not exercise extreme caution, expectation can also turn, just as rapidly, into a destructive, lethal enemy. Therefore you must be cognizant of how you are exercising this invisible but powerful force. You cannot have wealth in your material world until you have visualized the wealth in your mind. What does that mean? It means that before any of us can even begin to overcome the poverty which surrounds us in our external world, we must first conquer the impoverishment that is buried deep within ourselves. It’s impossible to feel poor, when you are conscious of being enveloped in the protective care of your spiritual center of your universe, be it God, Rabbi, universal spirit or whatever else you choose to call it. There never is, and there never has been any lack of supply, other than that which we have created ourselves, because of our own lack of awareness.
